Gill Venton<\/span><\/h1>\n

It was such a pleasure to welcome Gill to talk to us about her passion for the Kimbilio charity that works to improve the lives of homeless children in the DR Congo. Gill set up sewing classes that have changed the lives for many girls and she and her band of helpers make products here to raise funds to help continue this valuable project.<\/p>\n

Amy Burt Silk Shading Workshop March 2023<\/span><\/h1>\n

Amy very patiently taught us the finer details for successful silk shading. We were shown how to create a secure edge to our block or curved shape before introducing the long and short (but not too short) stitches. Amy also explained how the direction and angle of stitch has impact on your result. We thoroughly enjoyed Amy’s workshop and hope that it will not be too long before she is able to join us again.<\/p>\n

Darren Ball “It ain’t what you do, it’s the way that you do it!”<\/span><\/h1>\n
